Who each is the better pick for
ServiceTitan
ServiceTitan is the better pick if you want phones, call booking and recording, AI voice agents, consumer financing and marketing campaigns inside your field software, and you have the people for a 12 to 16 week implementation. Reputane has none of those today. Sources: 123
Reputane
Reputane fits a service business with more people in the field than in the office that wants to see the price before a sales call, sign no term, and start without an implementation project.
Side by side
| What you’re weighing | Reputane | ServiceTitan |
|---|---|---|
| Pricing and published prices | Published: $199, $449 or $799 a month for the whole company, by how many office people use it: 1 to 5, 6 to 20, or more than 20. | Not published. Three plans, Starter, Essentials and The Works, each say “Request Pricing”. Sources: 1 |
| Contract | Month to month, with no annual contract. These terms go into writing before anyone pays. | Annual or multi-year, “typically ranging from 12 to 36 months”, noncancelable, and renewing automatically unless cancelled in advance, by its 10-K. Sources: 2 |
| Setup fee and time | No setup fee and no activation fee, and the first 30 days are free from the day your workspace opens, with no card. No implementation project: the import that reads your old software’s customer export or a spreadsheet is built and switching on; then add your price book and crews, and run your first day. | Onboarding is a paid professional service; the fee isn’t published. On its own podcast, an Enterprise Implementation Consultant puts it at 12 to 16 weeks, then 4 weeks of “hypercare”. Sources: 23 |
| Crew and technician pricing | Crews are free and unlimited on every plan, so adding a crew never raises the bill. | Per technician, per month (“per-technician pricing”). The price per technician isn’t published. Sources: 12 |
| Mobile and crew app | Built, switching onA crew phone app for any iPhone or Android, opened from the home screen: today’s stops in order, the map, clock-in, photos and problem reports, kept on the phone where there’s no signal. Not in the App Store or Google Play. | ServiceTitan Field: 3.5 out of 5 from 5,294 App Store ratings. The older ServiceTitan Mobile app: 2.9 from 1,662. Sources: 45 |
| Spanish | In useEach person picks English or Spanish for the whole app. The crew phone and the most-used office screens are translated; settings, invoicing and the estimate builder are mostly English for now. | The Field app’s App Store listing names English, French and Spanish. Sources: 4 |
| AI | Built, switching onAI that drafts first replies to new leads, follow-ups and a morning brief, and only suggests: a person approves every message before it goes. | Atlas, an AI assistant, is a Core product for all customers. Max, a package of 30-plus AI agents, opens to plumbing, heating, electrical and garage-door companies with four or more technicians, with a limited pilot for commercial and roofing. Max’s price isn’t published. Sources: 678 |
| Open API and MCP | In useAn open API and an MCP server, so Claude and other AI apps can read your records and suggest changes you approve. Money stays out unless the owner grants it, key by key. | An API and “70+ pre-built integrations”; webhooks are due by the end of 2026. An MCP server was shown at Pantheon 2026, described there both as launching and as still in development. Sources: 89 |
| Data export | In useThe owner downloads your business records, any day, as plain files with a guide to every column. | Its help center shows the customer list exported to Excel (.xlsx). A whole-account export isn’t published. Sources: 10 |
| Trades covered | In use35 trades in four groups, each in its own words. In use at a working landscaping company; painting and detailing have their own packs, and the rest share a general field-service pack. | Residential: HVAC, plumbing, electrical, chimney, roofing, garage door, septic, pest control, irrigation and painting. Commercial: mechanical, refrigeration, plumbing, electrical, landscaping, roofing, kitchen equipment, water treatment, fire and life safety, dock and door. Switching from ServiceTitan
Reputane reads your ServiceTitan customer file directly, knowing it by its header row: its customers import template, or the customer CSV of its General CSV integration. Clients, their contacts and their service locations come across; jobs and invoices stay behind.
Export your customers
Save your ServiceTitan customer list as CSV: the customer file of its General CSV integration, or its customers import template if you keep one up to date.
Reputane reads it directly
Built, switching onUpload it and the columns come already matched: names, phones and emails as contacts, service locations as sites, billing addresses, notes and status. Check the dry run, confirm, and undo the whole import for 24 hours. A list in another layout still comes in; you match its columns.
Locations in a second file
If your locations are a separate file from your customers, import the customers yourself; we add the locations for you for now.
Jobs and invoices
Not builtA direct import of ServiceTitan’s jobs and invoices isn’t built.
Questions
Is Reputane cheaper than ServiceTitan?
ServiceTitan doesn’t publish its prices, so there is no number to set beside ours. Reputane is $199, $449 or $799 a month for the whole company, by how many office people use it, and crews are free on every plan, so hiring a technician never raises the bill.
I’m partway through a ServiceTitan contract. When can I switch?
Check your agreement’s end date and notice date. ServiceTitan’s 10-K says its contracts typically run 12 to 36 months, are noncancelable, and renew automatically unless cancelled in advance. Reputane is month to month, and your first 30 days are free from the day your workspace opens, with no card.
What does ServiceTitan do that Reputane doesn’t?
Phones and call recording, AI voice agents, consumer financing, customers booking into the dispatch board, marketing campaigns, and benchmarks drawn from its customers’ data. Reputane has none of those today.
Does Reputane work for HVAC, plumbing and electrical?
They’re among its 35 trades, and each one gets its own words for estimates and divisions. Reputane is in use at a working landscaping company; the other trades are built and not yet in use at a company.
Can I bring my ServiceTitan data?
Your customers, once the import is on (it’s built and switching on). Reputane reads ServiceTitan’s customers import template and the customer CSV of its General CSV integration directly, with the columns already matched, a dry run and a 24-hour Undo: clients, contacts and service locations come across. Jobs and invoices don’t; that import isn’t built.
